About: Capes for Kids is a design competition where designers create capes for kids suffering with terminal diseases. Each team will receive a box of materials as well as their assigned superhero a month prior at IIDA’s “But First Cocktails” event. Designers will come with sketches and design ideas, but all assembly must take place during the event. All capes will be donated to local Childrens’ Hospitals after the event.
Purpose: JOIN IIDA and help us empower these kids to make them feel like superheros while battling these difficult diseases!
Teams: 4-6 people per team. Multiple teams allowed per firm.
**When signing up for a team, you only need to “purchase” one ticket on ticketleap for your entire team. Please comment on the number of members you will have on your team so we can have the correct headcount for the event.
